Hi! I’m a B2B writer who loves creating data-driven reports and human-first blogs.

Went to Loch Ness, did not see Nessie.

So you need some help writing…

I know my way around a sentence or two. While I may not have made it far in the timed creative writing competitions in Junior High, I’ve made up for it since then.

Bringing a new freelance writer into the fold is a big decision, so I always aim to make working with me easy. I don't take (or want) hand-holding through the project, but I'll always ask questions if I have them. I'm on time, open to feedback, and dedicated to creating content that's helpful to humans.

8

years freelancing

600

pieces of content written (and counting)

500,000+

words written in the past three years

I can help with that.

I spend most of my time on long-form copy, but it comes in all shapes and sizes. Here are some of the projects I work with clients on:

In the year ahead, I'd love to write more content featuring original research. Finding the story in survey results and helping bring it to life are some of my favorite projects.

“Steph has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She communicates well and always finishes ahead of our deadlines. On top of that, she's been super flexible and willingly takes on various kinds of content to help out our team. We love working with her!”

Have we met before?

One of my favorite parts of freelancing is exploring different industries and niches. I’m in B2B SaaS-land 99% of the time, and I have recent experience with topics like:

  • Email marketing

  • The creator economy

  • Product experience insights

  • Work management

  • Legal tech

  • FinTech

“Stephanie is a fantastic writer and a pleasure to work with: she's flexible, knowledgeable, and is happy to interview subject matter experts and dig into research projects to ensure the content she delivers is expertly written. I appreciate how Stephanie approaches the editorial process with an open mind and that she gracefully accepts and provides feedback where needed. I would recommend and trust Stephanie for any writing project and am looking forward to partnering with her again in the future.”

I have no professional headshots, but being in the woods is more fun, anyway.

I always keep my inbox open to meeting new folks. If you have a project in mind, say hi!

What’re you up to?

“Steph brings a refreshing blend of professionalism and personality to every piece she has written for ConvertKit. She knows the online marketing space back-to-front—each piece she writes is rooted in data, and she takes the initiative to reach out to sources and subject matter experts to bring each piece to life.

Steph delivers every piece on (or sometimes well before!) her deadlines, her drafts require little to no editing, and she always takes feedback into account on subsequent articles. Each piece only gets better and better—it's no wonder she holds the byline on the most visited post on the ConvertKit blog. If you have the chance, I would recommend adding Steph to your writing roster in a heartbeat.”
